Innovation and Quality

Looking towards the future and the ever-changing technologies, AFG is open to innovation

Innovation and Quality

AFG has always designed its production lines with a strategy of extreme flexibility. Moreover, it has always been careful to maintain good relations with its suppliers, with whom regular technical exchanges take place and with whom a mutual technical consultancy network has been created over the years. Thanks to these two factors, market trends, regulatory changes and the growing needs of its customers can easily translate into innovation and new products.

The company also has a Project Manager to collaborate on complex and long-lasting projects, where it is extremely important to maintain correct and transparent continuous relationships.

AFG has the following certifications:

The BRGS for food packaging guarantees the standardisation of quality, safety and operational criteria and ensure that manufacturers fulfil their legal obligations and provide protection for the end consumer.

The FSC® system allows businesses and consumers to identify, purchase and use wood, paper and other forest products made with materials from well-managed forests and/or recycled sources.

CSI UNI 10667-1:2017

Conforming to UNI 10667-1:2017, 2008/98/CE and D.Lgs 152/2006 art. 184 bis, the standard CSI-BYPRODUCT certifies the classification of production scraps as “by-products”, which can therefore be re-used as a second-life material obtained from the recovery and recycling of products that would otherwise be considered plastic waste.

AFG developed a group of materials based on paper with features typical of plastics. Notwithstanding an unavoidable small plastic content, these materials are structured to be recyclable as paper under Aticelca® 501:2019.

For various applications, AFG is committed every day in developing innovative composite materials, which could eventually be considered recyclable as paper.
